9.9/10 (I’d lose the chrome cow pusher...)

Nice R/V!
(No, I’m not referring to the motorhome. Fun fact: squarebody Suburbans don’t share the same C/K designations as the trucks. 2WD models were “R”s, and 4WD ones were “V”s. This one appears to be a V2500.)

Definitely lose the economy car crusher. Are those pizza pans the original hubcaps? I’d go OEM on that, too.

I was thinking the pizza pans were a GMC thing, I remember seeing them back in the day. I knew two people who had these in that color scheme but different wheels.

I think those are stock pizza pans and don’t hate: I like them. Our era, though...
Tubby didn’t reply, BTW...

Pizza pans v. dog dishes... I’ll choose the former.

Oh, that is very nice. I like the cow pusher. I never cared for the pizza pans. I’ll trade those for dog dishes.

I’m working on a set of 80s truck rallies and rings from an Oppo guy. That’ll be the fourth set of rims I’ve bought and only driven the van 5 miles. But all the others will sell for most of what I’ve spent and each set’s been better than the last. Gonna be getting serious about getting that rattle trap on the road this summer. It’s actually driveable now...

Here’s a sort of think-aloud list of items, in no particular order:
Seal the doghouse*
Run ignition and starter wires into the cab with doghouse in place
Install new window tracks and seals*
Tighten/reinforce clutch/brake pedal hanger bracket (no vacuum assist, so much English applied with brakes)
Replace points with HEI*
Upgrade charging system/electrical system from Delcotron (external regulator) to 10si alternator (internal regulator)*
Install hitch receiver to protect the truck nutz, old school, unsafe-at-any-speed gas tank.
Refurbish the radiator.
Replace water pump and hoses*
Check/replace fuel lines and install inline fuel filters.*
Replace front shocks*
Fabricate/install manual choke cable.
* Parts already on hand.
I could register it tomorrow if I wanted to because 1971 is no smog necessary.

I’ve been cutting bait almost two years. Time to go fishing.
Freiburger and Finnegan could knock out that list in a weekend.

Nah, they’d get distracted and put a nitrous kit in it :)
